This is a new Watercolor from the last Fall, "October".

On July 1,2014, the Korea/Japan/USA International Watercolor Exchange Exhibition 2014 will open in Seoul, Korea. 20 artists from the US were invited to send a watercolor to the Exhibition. "The Island", is the watercolor I chose for the Exhibition. Each country has their own history of using watercolor....it should be an interesting Exhibition and I'm happy to be part of it.

On April 17, 2014, a reception for the opening of my one man Exhibition at the Shelby County Arts Center will be held from 6 to 8 pm. The address is 104 Mildred St. in columbiana, Alabama. The Exhibition will be up until May 12th. If you're down that way drop by.

"Neil's Spring" has won the California Watercolor Award in the 2014 Signature American Watercolor Exhibition at the Fallbrook Art Center in Fallbrook, California.

Artistic Images Exhibition

Artistic Images Gallery will have 8 of my paintings, 2 oils on canvas and 6 watercolors, for their Featured Artist Exhibition during January and February, 2014. The Gallery is located at 900 Bob Wallace in Central Park Village (hours 10-5:30, M-Sat. for those who might be interested.

"Neil's Spring", Watercolor, has been accepted into the Signature American Watercolor Exhibition 2014 at the Fallbrook art Center in Fallbrook, California.

50 Years of Bluff Park Art

I just learned that a painting of mine from the "American Landscape" series I did years ago, is included in the exhibition, "50 years of Bluff Park Art". It's on display in the Georgine Clarke Alabama artist Gallery in Montgomery and will be there from September 9 - October 28. It's one of the few shaped paintings I've ever done.

Neil's spring

"Neil's Spring" was accepted into the Watercolor USA 2013  National Exhibition at the Springfield Museum of Art in Missouri.

Summer Pools

"Summer Pools", accepted into the Watercolor Society's National 2013 Exhibition, won the Patron's Award. The Exhibition is at the Fine Arts Center of Hartselle, Alabama through May 26.

Swamp Flood

"Swamp Flood" was accepted into the Southern Watercolor National Exhibition which opens next month in

Quincy, Florida

Tangle II

Woods Mirror

Two Watercolors are in the invitational exhibition, "Visions of Alabama" at the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope, Alabama. "Woods Mirror" and "Tangle II" can be seen there until the Exhibition ends October 27, 2012.

"Neil's Spring" won the Signature Award in the 2012 Watercolor Society of Alabama's National Exhibition shown at the Littlehouse Galleries in birmingham, AL.

A Watercolor in the 2012 WATERCOLOR USA Exhibition at the Springfield Museum in Missouri, "V.G." won a Patron Purchase Award.

Two Watercolors, "Neil's Spring" and"Woods Mirror II" are included in an article titled "Water Works" in the April, 2012 issue of "Watercolor Artist" magazine.
